Queen Mary's School was established by Mr. K.J. Mathews and Mrs. Molly Mathews in 1981 and then registered under the aegis of Queen Mary's Educational Society, Cuttack in 1989. It has been recognized by the D.P.I, Odisha in 1992 and is accorded COR and was affiliated to the Council for Indian Schools Certificate Examination (C.I.S.C.E), New Delhi in 2000.
