Introduction
Queen Mary's School was established by Mr. K.J. Mathews and Mrs. Molly Mathews in 1981 and then registered under the aegis of Queen Mary's Educational Society, Cuttack in 1989. It has been recognized by the D.P.I, Odisha in 1992 and is accorded COR and was affiliated to the Council for Indian Schools Certificate Examination (C.I.S.C.E), New Delhi in 2000.
It aims at solving the educational problems of present day parent, by giving their children the best and most suitable education of the time and the place they live in, at an affordable and reasonable cost. Queen Mary's School tries to help these parents who seek to inculcate in their children, a thirst for knowledge, fun-loving attitude and a never-say-die adventurous spirit; a moral, intellectual, psychological and physical-oriented learning !
In the light of the above, the approach of Queen Mary's School is from time to time, to evolve policies and programs to build up firmly the basic knowledge and the character of the child, on which his bright and enlightened future rests, and thus make this institution a distinct, qualitative addition to the resources of education, rather than a more quantitative expansion of facilities which may already be existing.
Queen Mary's institution strives to help the present day parents who seek to inculcate in their children a thirst for knowledge, fun-loving attitude, a never- say die adventurous spirit, a moral, spiritual, intellectual, social, psychological and physical oriented learning. Our mission is to develop young people with active and creative minds, a sense of understanding and compassion for others, imbibe generosity and selfless service and courage to act on their beliefs, under the guidance and protection of the heavenly Mother Mary.
